Hello spring. Welcome to the April newsletter.
This month brings a shift in focus.
There’s a lot happening right now. Much of it feels heavy, uncertain, and out of our control. That doesn’t disappear just because the weather improves or the days get longer.
At the same time, this season naturally brings more light, more energy, and more opportunity to reset parts of our day-to-day lives.
Both can exist at the same time.
You can acknowledge what feels heavy and still create space for what feels good. You can stay informed and still allow yourself moments of peace, enjoyment, and relief.
Those moments are not trivial. They help you stay grounded, regulate your stress, and continue showing up for yourself and the people around you.
So the focus this month is simple:
Pay attention to what is still good.
Focus on what you can control.
Take care of yourself in ways that support you.
My small win this
month came from doing exactly that.
I started taking small steps, literally, toward my goal of walking more this year. Nothing extreme. Just adding a few extra miles each week.
That small shift has already made a noticeable difference.
My resting heart rate dropped from the mid to upper 70s into the low 70s. I’ve also seen a small amount
of weight loss without changing anything else.
No overhaul. No complicated plan. Just a simple habit repeated consistently.
It doesn’t take much to improve your health.
As you move through the rest of this newsletter, keep that in mind.
Where can you add a little more of what feels
good?
Where can you let things be a little simpler?
Where can you support yourself instead of pushing harder?
We’ll look at that through movement, nourishment, and mindset.
